Cancer Council’s Stars of Newcastle 2025

HIT 106.9 is proud to announce that Stars of Newcastle is BACK for 2025 and celebrating 10 fabulous years!

Cancer Council’s line-up of Stars consist of business and local community leaders who will learn to dance over the next 14 weeks with the help of their fabulously talented dance teachers.

Get ready for a night at NEX Newcastle of fun, DANCING, 2-course meal, auctions and spectacular entertainment all in the name of working towards a cancer-free future!

With 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, the money raised from this event will go towards Cancer Council NSW and its world-class cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy, and support services to help those affected by cancer at every point in their journey.

Stars of Newcastle 2025 will take place at NEX Newcastle on Saturday 1st November 2025, with doors opening at 6:30pm.
