Think you’ve got a brain for bargains and numbers? Rod Cuddihy and Gabi Elgood are putting Canberrans to the test with the ultimate precision shopping challenge at South.Point.
You’ll have one hour to shop across the centre and try to land on exactly $5,000, with only $1 either side as your margin for error.
No phone. No calculator. No pen or paper. Just quick maths, tough choices, and one final receipt that decides whether you keep the lot… or it all goes straight back on the shelves.
Listen to Rod Cuddihy and Gabi Elgood on HIT 104.7 and keep an ear out for their three daily clues.
When you think you know the South.Point store they’re hinting at, be first caller on 13 10 60 and correctly guess the store to secure a spot on the standby list.
From there, Rod & Gabi will select four shoppers and give each winner a chance to meet the HIT 104.7 team at South.Point for their 60-minute spending spree.
In the final week, Rod & Gabi will replay the highlights on air, where each shopper went, what they bought, and (most importantly) whether they nailed the total.
The Challenge: Spend exactly $5,000 in one hour across South.Point, visiting a minimum of five stores.
The Margin: You’ve got $1 either side to play with, miss by more than that and everything goes back.
No Tools Allowed: Shoppers won’t have a phone, calculator, or pen and paper; you’ll need to estimate and add totals in your head.
